Special Abilities: The flute is made of chakra-conductive metals, and the blue symbols are air seals that were placed on it. This allows the user to create very loud sound without blowing very hard across the mouthpiece. The air seals allow the sound to travel on the air in whichever direction the user dictates allowing Kaimaru to cast Genjutsu on specific people or groups of people and not on others who might be in hearing range.
Origin: The flute was on display in the library of the Blood Mist academy, its previous owner was the first kage of the mist village, a powerful water elementalist who combined his ninjutsu with genjutsu attacks. Kaimaru stole the flute and places his silver training flute in its place when he entered the library to read all the books on medical jutsu. There is a warrant out for his capture, dead or alive, from the mist village because of this and they offer a reward for the safe return of Sound Piercer.
